“Hello there” as Obi-Wan Kenobi used to say. Today we would like to present you the Enea office situated at 2555 E. Camelback Road, Suite 280, Phoenix, AZ 85016, USA. Now that you have our address feel free to drop by anytime. But maybe, first, we should introduce ourselves.
As you have probably guessed already, we are Star Wars fans, but enough of that for now! Our Enea office provides Professional Engineering Services under the Global Services umbrella and our Services group focuses on Engineering Services in the Avionics, Medical and Telecom/Networking industries.
Our Jedis… and by that we mean Eneans
Ramesh Kodnani is our VP who joined in May of this year. He brings strong experience from IBM and Tieto. His leadership is helping us to be positioned for continued growth and success.
Jason Kennedy and Kevin Kowalski are the best sales people focusing on business development, Jason focuses on Medical and Telecom/Network and Kevin focuses on Avionics.
Walt Walonoski is leading our recruiting team with his focus on avionics recruiting. Ashley Kaapuni manages Medical and Network/Telecom recruiting.
Chase Leslie rounds out the Sales and Recruiting Team by assisting in building the sales pipeline and recruiting as needed.
Connie Beane leads our Avionics Certification activities and is also very involved in Avionics projects.
Tony Robinson, Brad Boekes and Bob Sheldon are a few of the Senior-level Engineers who serve as Project and Program Managers and have been instrumental in our success.
Sarah Cohen is the Operations Manager who helps with office logistics and a variety of tasks.
Jody Thording and Jody Wessel handle all Finance and Human Resources activities.
Roy Smith is our Systems Administrator who provides IT support and is instrumental in equipping engineering with the tools they need to ramp up and deliver successful projects.
The force is strong with us
We are a small, close-knit team which has trust and open communication as core values. Sales and Recruiting work closely to drive the closure of business while IT, Finance and Operations provide strong support for sales and delivery. We work closely to overcome business challenges and encourage each other along the way. We are constantly searching for the most efficient method to deliver a valuable solution to the client. We have daily morning Stand-up meetings to check status on different matters.

But, we must not neglect that what keeps us going are the laughs. Practical jokes are not uncommon in our office: we’re always getting more and more creative, and we always surprise each other by re-arranging desks, or pretending a deal was sabotaged.
As you can notice, we are not only colleagues anymore, but friends and we enjoy spending time together. We have lunch together, we celebrate birthdays and anniversaries right in our kitchen. Also, we are lucky to have in our office complex a movie theater, so when “The Last Jedi” came out, we happily went together. When the professional baseball teams have Spring Training and the weather is perfectly sunny, we like to attend baseball games and we complete the fun with hot dogs, popcorn, baseball and maybe beer!
Did you ever hear about the White Elephant Holiday? It’s our favorite holiday, it’s the time when we give each other silly or serious gifts. Chocolate, liquor, gift cards or even electric Exit sign (taken from the trash during a client building remodel), a potty putting golf game and chia pet are a few examples. It’s always fun to get everyone together and catch up with the engineers that work at off-site locations.
The one who motivates, the one who inspires us is the one and only Walt Walonoski. Walt always walks around the office with a positive attitude and smile, frequently commenting that he ”couldn’t be better if he was twins”. Walt started his career recruiting for the Army and moved from there into technical recruiting. We all depend on Walt for his advice, expertise and tips in managing business activities. He is truly a wealth of knowledge and a huge asset to our office.
