Job description

Position objectives

We are a long time partner of one of the biggest embedded software company in Austria – working together on avionics, space and automotive projects. Now we are ramping up a team of automotive software engineers – to work on two new projects for two fo the top performance car manufactures from Germany.
The team will handle all aspect of the projects – focused on embedded ECU programing on top of AUTOSAR and QNX stacks/operating systems, using the latest high end automotive SoCs.

Together with your team colleagues, you are working closelly with the project manager (PM) which is providing you support for the daily technical jobs, and with the delivery director (DD) which is empowering your skills and expertise by providing the needed knowledge, information and resources.

Essential functions

  1. Good knowledge of embedded C and Python scripting related to vehicle buses: CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet.
  2. Experience with Vector tools (e.g. VectorCAST, CANoe/CAPL scripting, DaVinci Configurator/Developer).


  1. University degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent.
  2. At least 3 years of professional experience in automotive embedded systems.

Required key skills

  1. Good knowledge of embedded C
  2. Experience with Vector tools (e.g. VectorCAST, CANoe/CAPL scripting, DaVinci Configurator/Developer)

Great to have:

  1. Experience with safety related SW development (e.g. IEC61508, ISO 26262) in an agile environment(e.g. SCRUM, SAFe)
  2. Proficiency in SW validation (MISRA, QAC, HIS metrics, code coverage/unit testing)
  3. Good knowledge of Python scripting related to vehicle buses: CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet
