Job description

Position objectives

ENEA is currently searching for a qualified Senior Software Test Engineer that has experience configuring the LDRA tool with different client requirements.  Also looking for FMS and/or Flight controls experience to work with a large Aerospace company on this 6+ Mos Contract  in the Long Beach, CA  area.

Project brief

  • Testing and structural coverage for the Boeing C-17 Core Integrated Processor (CIP) software.
  • Testing utilizes LDRA Testbed/TBRun and VectorCAST for unit test/structural coverage verification (DO-178B Level A, B, and C) for upgraded software.
  • Testing involves Ada 83/95 and C/C++ software on the Solaris UNIX platform (Greenhills compiler), interfacing with LDRA on Windows XP.
  • Integration Test and Documentation for new ARINC-429 functionality.
  • Configuration Management using Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest.
  • Requirements traceability using DOORS.

6+ months contract

Qualifications

  1. Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or technical discipline from an accredited university.
  2. At least 10 years of avionics experience.

Required key skills

  1. Experience with software verification under DO-178 guidance
  2. Experience with component and system-level testing
  3. Experience developing test benches
  4. Must understand Avionics Systems and Subsystems definition and development.
  5. Must understand high and low level requirements writing and must be organized.
  6. Must have very good writing and verbal skills.
  7. Experience with DOORS is a must.
