Job description

Position objectives

This is a hands-on engineering position that requires experience in Java development technologies including back end and software integration, unit and functional testing and code management.

Together with your team colleagues, you are working closelly with the entire team, which is providing you support for the daily technical jobs, and with the Enea Program Manager which is empowering your skills and expertise by providing the needed knowledge, information and resources.

Essential functions

  1. Create, design, implementsand maintain software adapters for an enterprise orchestrator solution.
  2. Create, designs implementsand maintainsservice descriptors.
  3. Provide technical consultation and support in the development of automation solutions.
  4. Translate requirements into code for new or existing solutions and projects.
  5. Develop original, intricate solutions and simplifying when feasible to improve
  6. maintainability.

  7. Assure that quality, security and compliance requirements are met.

Qualifications

  1. Good knowledge in parsing and manipulating JSON/XML/SOAP/YAML
  2. Knowledge and understanding of relational databases concepts and decision support tools.
  3. Familiar with configuration management tools (Ansible)
  4. Familiar with *nix operating systems
  5. Solid knowledge of WebServices SOAP/REST API best practices and usage
  6. Good knowledge of OOP concept and Java programing language
  7. Familiar with Velocity template engine
  8. Familiar with CI/CD tools and process (Maven, GIT, CI/CD)
  9. Virtualization/containerization knowledge (Vagrant, VirtualBox, Docker, VMWare)
  10. Familiar with process modeling.

Great to have

  1. Experience with Agile Scrum development methodology (Daily standup, Sprint planning and Sprint retrospective meetings)
  2. Experience in designing and implementing process solutions for automation.
  3. Experience in designing and implement HEAT orchestration templates.
