We're not saying it's gonna be easy.
But we promise it's not gonna be boring.

We pride in providing new challenges all the time for our creative, rebellious engineers. This is the kind of place where we want to change the world with the right lines of code. Insane passion, curiosity and thirst for breaking barriers and rules feel like home here at Enea.

Would you feel like home?

Space, the final frontier

Probably you already know it, but that doesn’t stop us to say it. Here, at Enea, we’re aiming to touch the sky, and reach the stars. Get it? Besides the fact that we have been innovating every single day, for nearly 50 years, now we’re doing it for space missions.

We have come to be very good perfectioning us every day. […] To innovate, we need to learn and continually educate ourselves. – Bogdan Putinica, VP of Enea GS

Bodgan Putinica, our VP for Global Services within Enea Software talked about our current projects and perspectives at Zilele Biz. We are currently working with European Space Agency (ESA), an intergovernmental organization, composed out of 22 European states with the mission to shape the development of Europe’s space capability. Our all three offices from Romania are contributing to this mission with their knowledge and know-how.

Our first step was to create the first ARM platform capable to execute specific functions for space missions. We developed, configured and optimized it, and now, thanks to our hardworking, committed team of space dreamers the future ESA missions will benefit of ARM ecosystem.

At this moment, we are working also to create the first Linux platform to be used in outer space. We will be first on Earth to send Linux on the Moon or Mars. Our experts have been contributed to the construction of this platform which for the client means an alternative, with lower costs, more scalability and a huge amount of applications built by passionate coders all over the world.

Not to mention that Enea is the only center in Romania with insights and knowledge about aerospace engineering as this field has a high level of standardization. Also, the engineers that are working to develop this kind of technology have a unique profile, plus a lot of experience, and expertise in telecommunications. We are proud we have the knowledge and, also, the passion, as our deepest desire is to create rockets and travel the universe, to work with ESA.

Long story short, collaborating with ESA we are following our dream and we’re transforming the future.
